Merino Air - Autumn Clay

Light as air, beautifully soft.

This delicate blown yarn combines the exceptional softness of fine merino with an airy construction that creates remarkable warmth without weight. Instead of being traditionally spun, the fibres are gently blown into a fine polyamide tube, resulting in a lofty yarn with beautiful volume, softness, and an elegant drape.

Perfect on its own for lightweight garments and accessories, or held double for a fuller fabric, it is equally beautiful held together with another yarn, such as a merino fingering weight, adding softness, warmth, and a subtle halo while creating a richer fabric without unnecessary weight.

Gauge

• 3 mm (single strand): 24–25 sts = 10 cm
• 4 mm (single strand): 20–22 sts = 10 cm
• 4 mm (held double): 20 sts = 10 cm

Suitable For

Lightweight sweaters, cardigans, shawls, scarves, hats, baby knits, and delicate accessories. Beautiful worked on its own, held double, or paired with a fingering weight yarn for added softness and texture.

Care

Hand wash only using a gentle wool detergent. Gently reshape while damp and dry flat away from direct heat.
