About

Some things are worth doing slowly.

Selah Yarn Studio was born from a love of quiet crafting, natural color, and the kind of making that asks you to slow down and pay attention. Each skein that leaves our studio is hand-dyed in small batches — never rushed, never mass-produced.

Our Story

Selah Yarn Studio is an independent, owner-run dye studio. What started as a personal obsession with color and fiber has grown into a small collection of hand-dyed yarns made with care and intention. We believe that the materials you work with matter — and that beautiful yarn makes for more joyful making.

Our Process

Every colorway is developed and dyed by hand, in small batches. We work with carefully selected yarn bases — soft merino, suri alpaca silk, and more — chosen for their quality, feel, and the way they take color. Because each skein is dyed individually, no two are exactly alike. That's not a flaw. That's the point.

Our Fibers

We work with a curated selection of premium bases, including superwash merino sock yarn, merino worsted, suri alpaca silk lace, and blown merino air. Each base is chosen to complement the colors we create and the projects our customers love to make.

Made for Makers

Whether you're knitting your first pair of socks or designing your tenth shawl, we hope our yarns bring something special to your hands and your work. Thank you for being here.
